Feature request: ability to change MP3 screen volume mapping

Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to change where the volume buttons map to on the MP3 screen and DIVX screen? The reason I ask this is because I am using the 5.1 output from my EPIA-M and the main volume (which the MediaCar buttons seem to map to) is actually the front speaker volume control (as opposed to the wave volume or winamp volume). So when I adjust the volume using the buttons on the MP3 screen, I only turn the front speakers up or down. The only way for me to adjust the volume of all speakers is to go into the Mixer and adjust Wave or Winamp volume. Anybody else notice this? You can see how my windows mixer shows up with the EPIA-M in the picture below:

I map the volume to the "Master device" and in your case the master is only the Front volume, It's very stupid from Viaa I find, on my Audigy II I have a master volume and a volume for front, rear, ...

I can add an option to map volume to the Wav if you are reading from file and automatically to CD volume if you are reading an audio CD.

I agree that VIA was stupid to link master to front speakers only. But mapping to Wav would be very helpful! It would be nice if VIA's audio software was like Nvidia's nForce Control Panel. The sound quality is great from my nForce based desktop, but I have been disappointed with the results from my EPIA. Maybe I should just ditch this EPIA setup and build another nForce2 based computer for my car.

I don't have the DVD hooked up in the car right now because I am modifying the installation. When I have it hooked up, I will test this out.
