No any error. And that what is strange. Just nothing happen. I even removed the new lines from ini and same thing. Nothing. But the good thing is now MEDIACAR does launch my OBD II software and Audigy 2 Bass Management and I'm happy.
And yes. The first thing I do is to correct the paths for the exe files. I know that well.
Any other ideas?

The launch module works well for your ODB II software and Audigy 2 bass management but not for notepad and calc ?

Some strange thing prior v.1.8.1 here also. Closing MEDIACAR courses my antivirus software to close with HELP STACK OVERFLOAT error. Like some viruses does .
But that wasn't a big deal because its on my testing machine.

Yes. Exactly opposite of the previous versions. Replacing only MEDIACAR.exe 1.8.2 with 1.8.1 works for both CALC and NOTEPAD.
Strange things happen.

Strange things happen.

Try to put Calc and Notepad into another folder than "c:\windows\", I suspect a protection of this folder by XP that don't accept to launch application with his default folder set to the XP path.

No, does the same on my desktop pc - haven't tried it in my car yet!
Just that I'm not bothered with calc and notepad but I noticed IE does the same, i.e. doesn't load.

I'm not really sure if this is a feature or bug.

In the mp3 player if I selcet (it will browse ok) a folder without any songs in but has sub folders the MP3 player will load a blank playlist. I would have thought that when you select an emputy folder, it just did a browse instead, moving you inside that folder to choose from the sub folders.

The reason I ask this is because I group all my albums in folders with the artist's name.

Yep, good point - it didn't use to do this, I sure!

Hmm, just checked with v1.81 - it works ok in that version. It was the function of the 'load subfolders check box' in audio setup but now that's gone. I think the 'select+' button is supposed to do the same thing but it doesn't!

I have just checked and the select+ buton does what it supposed to do.

The select+ loads the selected folder and the first sub-folder level

Just checked also and on Win2000 it work fine.

It's only under XP that this problem occurs ?
