Hi Coyote

Firstly, I love mediacar its a great program. However I have a bug with 1.8

I was using 1.3 but just installed 1.8 and I get the Runtime error 13 at startup. It takes me to the setup screen but some options are missing and I can't click OK.

Ive gone back to using 1.3 for now as it works fine, I have a celeron 433 128 MB Ram, Radeon 9200 and am running Windows 98

Thanks

Remove the entire "mediacar" folder and install V1.8 again

Question

Maybe its just me but I can't feel any sound change moving Equalizer sliders. And that's from the first MediaCar release.

By fefault the Winamp preamp is Off (Label at bottom of the slider is Red) , you need to click twice onto the winamp preamp slider or press "P" when this slider is selected to toggle mute.

Sorry. My bad. I haven't use Winamp before. MediaCar makes me to use it. Which is not so bad.

Thanks.

I have completely forgotten these two icons when I have updated the skin.

For this moment you can change yourself the position in the skin file if you want.

Video playing problem.

I am not sure if this is a bug or because of my setup.
I am using PSone moded screen so this is the main problem.
On my regular monitor (@ 1024x786) and I am running Mediacar 1.8 at 640X480 everything working fine. Video is playing fine with no stretch or distortion.
When I switch to my PSone screen @ 60x480 there are problem when playing video (Divx). Video is playing on 1/2 screen. I mean I can only see the bottom 1/2 of the image. However, in XP Pro Window Media player the video play fine (I have to disable some setting like RBG, underlaying stuff under performance to make it work).
Basically when I use my moded PSone screen, the only player that can play video, dvd is Media Player. WinDVD, MediaCar Divx doesn't work.
Is there any setting in MediaCar so that I can change like in Win Media Player to have the video playing without stretch, distortion?
Thanks Coyote, you do a fantastic job on this program man.

solution for external GPS and DVD

put all the programs that you want to run inside of MediaCar folder. Everything worked for me perfectly embedded. Coyote maybe this is a bug or something. Great work.

Not really a bug, but in the MP3 module, the portion of letters in the folder name that drop below the baseline like a "p" "q" 'g" are cut off.

I changed the height of L08 in the audioplayer.skin file from 20 to 22 and it works fine.
