HELP!! My v1.8.2 doesn't work!? NOOOOO

Coyote!! I downloaded version 1.8.2 and it is giving me lots of trouble. First of all, when in the setup, I cannot select "ok" (it is like faded out) so I am forced to close, which in term does not save my settings!! Then it goes into Media Car with all the default settings, which does me no good.

I just bought a NavMan GPS and was updating everything, and now I can't try it out in my car!!

I haven't heard anybody else mention this problem, but I did try installing it on a different computer, and had the same exact problem. Both of my computers are running Windows XP Pro.

Please help me!!!

MeanGT,

There are 4 things that are checked for the OK button to not be greyed out:

MP3 directory
Video directory
External GPS location (if set to Other)
External DVD location (if none, remove what's in this box)

Check all of these, and it should be OK

Methinks we need a sticky regarding this!

Thanks confused!! I even tried setting everything in the thought that I might have missed something, (and I did, it was the DVD setting) But I missed it the first few times. That scared the crap outta me  Now to try my GPS setup out

I had that same error when My Playlist Path was incorrect, does it give you the error when entering MP3 mode?

Try to remove the "settings.ini" file and after reinstall V1.8.3 and V1.8.4 patch.

When do you have this error exactly ?

After doing the "Setup" thing, and clicking OK, it does that. And then again each time when I try to run it. And it is still doing it, even with removal of program and the dir, and a reinstall of program... I am sure my dir's are right!

I have tested with your settings (and my path) and it work for me under Win2000. Are you running XP ?

Is there anybody who has the same problem ?
