mediaengine closes itself on standby, then reopens on resume, so no music is playing from the time the computer resumes to the time my app sets the volume to 0%

so.. yeah... that's why i've been using mediaengine for the past month or so.. i hate it... can't wait to use mediacar again. just got my dual pci riser yesterday, and will cut all the plexi today to get everything ready to reinstall my carputer from in the glovebox to the back of the glovebox (i'll post pics later)

CelicaRuss, slightly OT but does the via 2 pci slot device support busmaster cards rather than one slave and one busmaster pci card only. The 2slot PCI risers I've tried so far don't work correctly with my Epia800 so with two busmaster cards like a USB2.0 card and a VGA card they crash out or you don't see one of the cards on boot up or both scenarios. I've tried several PCI VGA and USB2.0 cards and they work fine one at a time in ether slot so the pcI cards aren't the issue.

Thanks,
NJay

njay.. not sure... i got it from logicsupply.com
it's made by via for via motherboards...
i think one of the pci slots runs native and the other one is on int A device 15 or something...
there's also jumpers on it which i have no idea what they do since there's no real documentation for it.
i don't have it in front of me, so that's all i can think of from memory

hi garry..

oh ok, i see the problem with the slider in music-part!

what i said about the gps-part.. if i'm using mappoint or another working gps-sw bound into mediacar, then there is the normal "blue" skin..
perhaps you could send me the photoshop files, then i could help you.. (only if you like!) thx for your work..

Damn, cotwild...i did those about 3 weeks ago!

Download the latest versions (848x480 or Stretched 800x600)

I will hopefully get the Radio finished today, and I shall update the "update" and re upload it...give me a few hours from this message!

Question Confused, how come the 1.9 update for the 848*480 skin had updates to the mixer .skin and jpg's and your update for the 800*600 doesn't ?

Garry, let me answer Laidback if I may,
You need the new mixer.skin file because now Coyote incorporates vertical and horizontal sliders. You'll get an error message if you still have the old mixer.skin. Please look at my thread here http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/mediacar/22799-brushed-metal-skin-v-1-9-a.html

But what I meant was that Garry doesn't include the mixer.jpgs in his update
whereas Coyote did..It doesn't matter....

One other question though, Your '800*600 with logo' jpg's seem to be different to Garry's 800*600 jpg's, how come?

Great software...

... very buggy. For example, keyboard is unusable - just try to navigate in main menu using keyboard. Error states are not correctly checked. I would like to help to to fill detailed bug report - is there a specific place (even outside this forum) where i could report bugs specific to this new version?

The actual mixer jpg files I have previously released are fine, there is no changes to them, hence why I didn't put them in the .zip file again

And as for the menus...Febsperanza has been doing lots of logo's based on the original design, with the Arial font for the text, whereas I have done the latest one with the same font used elsewhere in the skin on buttons.

Myself and Febsperanza will be collating the most current files/images for each screen soon...expect a full new release sometime soon.

Garry,
Actually, the original mixer jpegs were incorrect as pointed out by the master here: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...34&postcount=4 in this thread http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=22799 I am indeed to blame for being dense

Ah, now I understand the difference! I didn't look at the jpg's closely enough, but it's only a small thing which doesn't stop it working anyway.
