Smile Brushed Metal skin v.1.9

I am so thrilled with Coyote's new version! As I am writing, I am uploading the updated Brushed Metal menu skin for Mediacar v.1.9. To my knowledge, the skin affected is the main menu at the moment.

But wait! That's not all Due to popular demand, I've also modified the menu with an 'appearance' button See attached. Let me know if you like it or hate it.

As usual, you can download the 848x480 rez at the http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84..._metal/Brands/ Inside the zip file you'll find the updated .skin file for the menu.

You have to download the slider3 folder here: http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84...al/SLIDER3.ZIP Unzip the folder to your skin folder. Please look at the structure of the folder make it exactly as the original, i.e.
-skin
|__slider1
|__slider3

Last, you'll also have to download the mixer.skin file here: http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84...tal/mixer.skin This is to accomodate the new v.1.9 program.

Enjoy!

ps. stretched 800x600 coming soon!!

Feb ... when you do the 800x600 stretched (and even the 848x480) can you change the Gradiant Overlay Scale for the Jeep logo to 88% instead of 76% ... i think it makes it easier to see.

If you'll be posting the PSD files for 800x600 then no worries ... I can do it

Thanks Febsperenza

For information, you need also to change the color of the texts "MASTER","WAVE","LINE","CD",AUX" and "PREAMP" into the MIXER_ON picture from white to red for the mute indicators.
I have already done it in my small upgrade zip

Could you also already change the "Hard" slider of the player in the same way that the one of the main menu to prepare the slider support of the next version ?

Good works, any chance that you do skins for the entire interface ?

Gerard,

First download the main skin files here: http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84...shed_metal.zip

or
http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84...%20848x480.zip
for the completed skins (like radio, gps etc)

Then go to http://www.my105e.com/febsperanza/84..._metal/Brands/ to choose which car brand you have.

Shakes,
See attached and let me know

Hi Coyote!
Aaah... How silly of me not to realise that mute indicators.
Can I actually use the slider for audio player now? I thought it is not supported yet? As for the rest of the skin, I think Garry has already done it. Or is there anything that I missed?

By the way, can I make a request? For the Gamma, if it is possible to code, can we also please have a choice of skin for night and day (in addition to changing RGB)? Thanks for all the work that you've done for us!!

feb ... yes that look smuch better. if you could dull down the grey line in the middle just a tad it would be perfect. Looking good tho.

With the way it was the bottom of the logo just seemed to blend too much with the background.

Thanks again!

Your work is mcuh appreciated febsperanza. People coming to checkout my the carputer are more impressed about the dazzling look of your skin than anything else.

On the Jeep logo I have always like the another one. Unfortunately I coudn't it anywhere but from this original contrast skin (see attached file). Any way possible to carve it out and use with yours streched skin.

Shakes, do you like it?

I'm a bigger fan of the plain Jeep logo that just says 'Jeep'... But if I remember right I do believe the logo you're wanting was in the zip I sent to feb originally when I asked him fo a jeep skin.

If you need the file again i probably still have it so lemme know feb.

i unzipped the files into the brushed metal folder including the brand and the radio_player.zip but i look inside the folder and I am missing slider2 and slider4 folders. so i tried replacing them with the sliders from the default skin just to see if it would work. but the only skin that shows up under appearance setup is still default...

HELP!! im still a noob...sorry
