MC and full screen

I searched for quite a bit, but honestly didn't read each of the 21 pages in the bug list... is there a particular resolution that you're supposed to set for MC to be full screen? I'm running 800x600, and it's only filling up the top 2/3s of my 7" screen. Also it's a little too wide. Anyone help? Thanks.

what's the native resolution of your screen?

is it a VGA or TV screen?

from what I understand the native resolution is 800x480, but for some reason best results have been found at 848x480.

mediacar's default setting is 848x480. If you go into the setup program you can change this. goto appearance and change the show size.

bear in mind you may need to get a skin to fit the 800x600 if that is what you are going with.
