Sorry I havn't had a chance to test it. I will look at it asap. I am trying to fix some other audio and touchscreen problems
I have a question though? What if you have two camera's (webcams), how do you choose which one to use?
Any chance on making it skinnable?
Cheers

in the ini file there is a device=<n>
where n is a 1-based ordinal for the device. So, the first capture device is 1, the second 2 etc...

I have concluded, that .ini file name and directory name should be FULLSCREEN, es .exe name, and also WindowSearchString (?) *fullscreen*
when I did it, it works, closing by MC, and does not move anywhere (let me check it again..)

@mobile1
Okay I see. So everything is configured through the INI file. Thats a quick and dirty way to get it working no doubt. Thanks for your work on this.
I was thinking this would be a great add on to the major front ends if there was a split window basically. say on the left hand side that you could skin in buttons so that you would be able to switch between cameras if you had multiple cameras in your setup. Or switch between camera and tv or whatever.
I think the main thing would be to be able to detrmine the size and placement of the camera/tv screen and to skin the whole thing to match whatever look and feel you have gott going on already.
Looks like I am going to have buy a webcam to check this thing out.
You guys rock...keep this thing going
Cheers

I was thinking since it uses any capture device, it would probably display TV stations as well. If I could find a way to interface a skin to change channels and inputs, we'd have a cool little program here..

Attached is the version that uses an ini file.
It will create one automatically if you dont have it, or you can use the following template:
[fullscreen]
x_origin=0
y_origin=55
width=800
height=545
device=1
micro=0
line=0
audio=1
Note: this should be in a file called fullscreen.ini and should be in the same folder as the fullscreen.exe application.
The defaults are what I used to get the screenshot earlier. Its dark now, so a new screenshot is somewhat less impressive
If you put the binary in the launch folder then my ini will have the same name possibly as the one that mediacar uses. This is fine, the sections will be different so it will not clash.
Works ok and embeds into mediacar with search string as ZVI states, there's also no need for the x,y, height & width parameters in the ini file as MediaCar takes care of that.

And option in ini file for ontop and movable would be very nice...
That would made that little program just what i need..
That would be so cool...
Can it be done, have you spare time?
That is one function that i would use in my future skin of MediaCar.
I cant code and my friend is busy so you are my only hope i think....

Sorry, not had a chance to get VC out tonight, been doing Linux at a client. Tomorrow.
The 100x100 is no problem... + always on top, I'll add those.

100x100 was just an example, but i think you understood what i mean...
Custom to Fullscreen and vice versa with left clicking in picture (touchscreen)
Option for always on top and option to screen to be movable or not...
Then its most complete app for me...
