volume buttons within gps?

is this possible? like maybe skinning them into the upper bar where close and x are?

There is no way (currently) for volume buttons in GPS.

For what? To turn down that bleep bleep bleep from the satellite?

While using a remote or keyboard with volume control this can be done quite easily.

but when you don't want to use a keyboard or remote, it's quite difficult

Yes, you are missing... I need that urgently.
I use Mapsonic (external GPS application), and everytime I run it the wave mixer sound is all to the left, and then only the front speakers are "singing", so I need to go out of Mediacar and set the wave volume in the center. The solution, I can only use the GPS software out of Mediacar.
This volume control inside Mediacar would be my solution.
Otherwise, if it could be possible to fix in Windows the wave volume always in the center....
