How long will MC last?

Disclaimer: This post is not intended to cause a flamefest.

I've got Mediacar installed and configured quite nicely. Overall I'm happy with it and it seems to like me too...

However, I've been keeping an eye on the Centrefuse forum and it has picked up a number of features in the new release.

MC = no longer developed or supported (apart from custom skins)
CF = ongoing development and support

Granted, CF doesn't integrate Destinator (yet), but its only a matter of time.

So, back to the question - how long will Mediacar last as an unsupported app and is it time to 'jump ship'?

I'm still using it. And will do till I find something that does more of what I need. And doesn't need this, that, x, y, z installed before it will work.
