Seriously, got any plans to continue? I know its pretty good as is. but there are things like night/day skin swaps and stuff.. hint hint.
Its a good lightweight front end, if you do not wish to continue, please release your source!!
Aside, I canned the 1024x768 skin realising that windoze sucks at this res on a 7 inch, no matter how much you tweak the desktop. Working on a new skin..
