frodo, you are the man. Because of you, this is the only reason I would build a carputer, so I can have my XM still integrated. Looks beautiful!

Mr. Frodo!
This is exactly what I've been begging for on the Meedio forums!
So I have to ask the questions…
Will this work with the XMDirect serial mod?
How soon is “soon”?
Any chance of integrating cover art look-up via the web?
Outstanding!!! Boris

Most excellent monkey man! So this will be inegrated into Meedio via a plugin?
Is this going to be interfaced via the XMD or XM Online (their webpage). Hopefully the later so I could have XM in both car and htpc..

I put a hold on it while I worked on some Sirius stuff, but I will be resuming
work shortly. Yes, it works with the XM Direct.
Cover art for songs ? If you can find me some good code, I will
consider it.
If any developers on the meedio forums would like to help you out
by making an app sooner, point them to the Frodo XM Service.
Frodo

If you want just a raw app for testing, without too much debugging done yet,
and can handle installing it manually, just say so and I'll post it up.

How about my question Mr. Baggins? Do you need the XMdirect for this or can one use their online xm account?

That would be great! Can you guide me through the basic steps of installing?

Cool, keep in mind it might not be the final product.
Let me check a few things and I'll make an alpha
available.

Ok, here it is. I assume you know how to put in Meedio plugins.
You also need the Frodo XM Service running.
(To set up the Frodo XM Service, just put all the stuff in the services
zip file in a directory under Program Files, then go in the client dll folder
and run register.bat. Then put a shortcut to FrodoXMService.exe in the
startup folder of the start menu. It is supposed to run all the time, so
if its not running, start it. (Also remember to set your COM port in the INI))
