Anyone tether this phone?

I want to be able to have my Centrafuse front end connected to the internet via bluetooth and this phone.

We should probably round up some people who are on the MotoDev team. (Technically, I'm one of them, except I haven't actually done any development work since joining.)

Java is all the rage these days, especially in mobile phones, so it's possible that a Java application can be developed to utilise the phone's Bluetooth module to connect to the car PC. It will then have to bridge the two network adapters: GPRS/3G and the Bluetooth PAN.

Admittedly, it would be a lot easier for people who have a Windows-based phone because there is an Internet sharing application built into Windows Mobile and you can set it to share through USB or Bluetooth. This is how I plan to access the internet with my car PC ... once I actually build the car PC and once I change my rate plan

RipplingHurst will become famous soon enough
I have a data plan with AT&T. I then used Motorola Phone tools to use my V3xx as a bluetooth modem. I just use the MPT to configure a connection. I then copied the shortcut created by the Moto Phone Tools to the startup menu and everytime the computer starts, it connects to the internet 3g via bluetooth.

I can't see why this would be much different with yours, but one never know.

Yeah, I did the same thing, except I don't want to connect to the internet every time I boot up.

68rustang is an unknown quantity at this point
I have tethered a v3m and a krzr in the past and it wasn't very difficult at all. Your best bet would be to check out Howard Forums.
