Using a Boost Mobile phone to broadcast your location and create a cheap and slow net connection. - A step by step description of how to use an inexpensive Boost Mobile phone's GPS and a java application to broadcast your location to a web page. Also creates a very slow connection (2400 baud) to the net for your PC.

This is an old post but still works if you are using a LINUX based CarPC. I use bluetooth dial with my EEEPC (linux) and Windows Mobile 6.1 device.
