Emdedding Freefone

How can I embed freefone into this FE. I know i can turn it on using APP but i have no way of Minimizing MI. Freefone stand alone just cover MI.

If you are not using one of the GPS programs, you can try to trick the program and have it open it from the GPS module, if not, then the external apps program is the only one you can use.

what do u mean by trick. I am using IG4. can't be done then because i use my gps all the time.

Ok, thats right your the one that found out IG4 embeds perfectly. The gps module has the capability of using other 3rd party software that can be set up to embed, but since you use IG4, there isnt a way to get Freefone to work any other then the external apps module. I would have to code an entirely new part of the program... one that would stay on top of any programs that may be running that shows a master main menu or something that would show over anything running. I will consider this for my next bug fix release. Thanks.

You should look into embedding freefone also. Work as great as phonecontrol just that has no SMS

I guess i should have posted this earlier in the previous version i was able to have free phone come up when i clicked the phone button..
I have just re installed the new version and when i click phone control it is still comming up as free phone.. This might be a start what i did was install phonecontrol the trial version and then installed free phone then i changed the button to call phonecontrol by renaming free phone to the name used by mi.. I also noticed that freephone does not have a minimize button.. I guess we could ask cd freak to code that in...

Where do you go to rename this to call out freefone. I dont see it anywhere in the config.ini or irunnin.ini

Okay tn6478 this is what i did first make sure to install the the trial version of phone control.. Just so that it makes the needed folder on the harddrive..
then run mi click on phonecontrol to make sure it calls phonecontrol.
Then exit
then copy the freephone files to c:\program files\phonecontrolnet folder or wherever it installed
rename freephone's executable to "PhoneCtl.NET.exe "
thats what filename MI is looking for to make phonectrl work..
Now when you click phone control freephone will open up.. But it willnot be embedded though its a start.
