It needs to be running in the background, and this should function this way by default. Can you describe whats happening in more detail?

Hey red it maybe me but i tested web eq the trial version on my test MI pc.. First thing with the trial it installs in C:\program files as Webeq trial.. If you rename the folder to webeq it works.. Now as for the equalizer functioning I see the sliders move but I really cannot hear any differences.. Although I am trying it on music videos in ASF format.. I will try some mp3 and wavs and wma files to see if the same thing is happening..then post my results.
Great software though,
Test pc specs same as car pc
dell gx260 2.0ghz
mi 4b
wmp10
webeq trial

have a nice day.

Thanks for the info, good to know. I tested and coded with a full version so this is definitely it. As far as not noticing a difference, you might not notice on a cheep pair of pc speakers, but in a car you would, also you may have to hit the enable equalizer button a couple of times to get it to sync.

i've been debating whether to get WebEQ or not, and i'm leaning towards purchasing it. However, upon looking around, I saw one website which stated that it supports WAV and MP3 format...no mention of wma or not. I was wondering if it does in fact support wma, if anyone knows by experience.

Thank you.

I dont know for sure if there is a difference, but i was under the impression that it alters the sound at the soundcard, and not the program playing it.
