I dont mind you bringing up all of this. I appreciate people making sure the programs works. This will also help people to know how the program works too. It helps me develop the program better and see what people are having a hard time with so I can make it better. Keep it up!
When you have shuffle selected, the button is lit right(just checking)? I made sure that it worked on my development machine and I just checked it on my home machine too and its working ok. Its strange that you are having this problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
I know that sometimes it will shuffle in the very next song and seem like its not working, then it will jump 5 or 6 songs away, or even 3 or 4 songs in a row is also possible. The next and previous buttons dont shuffle even when its selected by the way, is this how it is happening maybe? Tell you what; can you tell me exactly what your doing, and what is pressed, etc. The more details I can get, maybe I can determine what is going wrong, or what is causing it on your system. Let me know. Thanks.

Hmm.. didnt think of it I guess. I could add it quite easily, in fact it would only take a couple lines of code to add. Look for it in the next release along with the add directory button in the playlist module. Thanks again for all your work in testing it out.

The shuffle code that I am using makes the selections totally random, therefore, unfortunately if you hit previous or next track buttons it will just randomly choose a song and not identify it as previous or next.

Sorry, The code that I just added just skips randomly around with no rhyme or reason weather you hit the previous or next track buttons.

thought of a cool new feature you could add...its only a small thing but i discovered its usefullness while having to use media player when i drove around today...
a volume bar, it doesn't have to be massive but i thought it could go above the track title bar (between the two volume buttons), or even behind it (the writing could sit on top of it)
it would allow you to jump to any volume in the range without having to scroll up and down (although the speed of that is much better than version 1 anyway)
what do you think?

Hmm,... not bad. Unfortunately ive tried to put text over a scrolling volume or duration bar and it doesnt work with the code that I use. I could make the volume buttons work much faster, I looked at the code and there is a terribly large margin to speed it up. I also put the mixer module in there too, to adjust things even further. Thank you for the idea. I will think about ways to make the volume easier to adjust. The next update for Version 2 will out soon and it will have the following updates:
Playlist Module -> add all files in the shown directory
Media Player Module -> Shuffles when hitting the previous and next buttons when shuffle is selected.
Bug fix -> When a playlist was the last thing playing upon exit, Starting audio again, when you hit next or previous in shuffle mode or regular mode, it selects the next file in the filelist, not in the playlist if you are starting the media player up in Audio mode.
N64 Module -> will now be a Nintendo/Super Nintendo/Nintendo 64 emulator module, User will have the choice of emulator , all will be touch screen friendly.
XM Radio Module -> No progress yet.

cool well perhaps it'd work if it was only a few millimetres thick and then you could have it right at the top of the screen above the track title
keep the updates coming!

Yeah now that's what I'm talking about! The N64 integrated emu is unique, a choice of built in emu's now that will be outstanding!
Keep up the good work.

i'm also having trouble displaying the exit page as well
basically i can press 'home' and 'exit' as many times as i like in the audio module and it does nothing but if i go to, say, the n64 module and then go exit its fine
this also happens in the home module when i press the centre button to exit. only trouble is if i try to go to audio and then back the screen suddenly flips to exit and i've already pressed the shutdown button (when i really want hibernate)
understand?
any ideas?

Hmm.. Im not able to recreate this problem. All the menu's seem to work fine for me. Are you switching from one program to the other, then back to Mobile Impact? This sometimes throws the menu's off a tiny bit, but it quickly recovers when you press any of the buttons. Is this the case? or did this happen after you had an error or something?
