How Many Albums Do You Keep On Your Carputer?

I would like to know how many albums or album art files that people have on their carputers. Just tell me a number. Thanks.

I have way too many for album art

also, a side note red..... remember I was having all the lockups with your program & write errors.... I finally figured out the problem..... I had a 500 gig drive with my media & it was so full that there was practically no extra space on the drive....... once I moved a few large files off the drive my lockups & write errors were no more.....

just an fyi for you... I don't know why this only was affected by your program.... does it try to deposit anything with the media???

866 ALBUMS... HOLY S#@T thats alot of music!!! I think my entire collection is around 400 to 500 albums!

Glad you worked it out. The program doesnt do anything that Im aware of, at least I didnt write anything that uses a temp file or anything like that. This is good info to know. Thanks.

Do a search on Album Art Downloader and you will find a ton of good programs, alot are free. Do you organize your albums in separate folders?

http://music.yahoo.com and a lot of patience. Search for the artist. Go to "Albums". Right-click > "Save As", browse for the folder, and save as "Folder.jpg".

... and this is what it'll look like in Windows Explorer when you're done:

I have aprox 10,000 songs but only 4967 are organized. Within the 4967 songs I have 512 album art images.

I used MusicMatch to update the album art and it works pretty well.

http://www.slothradio.com/covers

This is the website I use for CD Covers. I also use a mix of MusicBrainz and Tag & Rename to label everything. I have about 4500 mp3s and an almost full 60gb harddrive.
