No album art

I don't think this is an issue with Mobile Impact; it's a windows thing, but I'm hoping someone might have seen this.

Album art on my new laptop running XP Pro is not showing up at all in the "My Music" folder. It displays in WMP 11, but not in the folder itself, so consequently it isn't showing up in Mobile Impact as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

Mobile Impact reads the folder.jpg file if it exists in the folder. Then when it finds it, it will represent the folder/directory where it was found.

Thanks for the reply--

I don't think this is a Mobile Impact thing--it's something to do with Windows. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before. Windows Media Player is showing the album art, but it doesn't show up in My Music folder. They used to before I re-imaged my laptop...but now that I've downloaded new music, the images no longer appear as folder icons...I wonder what's going on. I searched through Windows Help and can't find anything out.

Thanks--Mike

Nevermind--think I figured it out. I had to go in to Media Player and click "Update Album Info" on each album. Not sure why it isn't occuring automatically, however.

I have a different issue.
I went into the settings, I told it to sort/view album art. (top left)
I changed my mind, because it takes too long to load, and some of the albums are off the screen to the right. (half viewable)
Anyway, went back into settings, changed it back to "0" (no art). It still shows the albums. How do I stop it from doing this? ( I have it set at "0", and restarted the program, even rebooted)

Can you show me a screenshot of your settings and are you hitting the save settings button too?

I got it. Took another look in the settings. Unchecked the box at the r.lower side. I think it even says "show album art".
