Loving MMC!

Hi,

I've been downloading and testing LOADS of front ends recently and I have to say MMC is my favourite!

It seems that so many promising looking apps (Frodoplayer, NMC, Freeway) stop being worked on just as they're about to get good. I hope this won't happen to MMC.

MMC has got it just right for me. The interface is simple and the audio player allows me to view my music by artist, album, genre etc.

I can't wait for the next release, as there area few things I'd like to see change. I'll hold off my suggestions until I've played around with the new release!

One thing that does concern me though is my laptop shows it using about 50 megs of memory. My car pc OS (TinyXP) uses less than that!?

Andy

Yeah,

That is a hit I take by using .NET Framework. Part of it, is the way my graphics engine works too. It used to take up 100MB and I got it down to 40-50. With time I might get it down to 20MB, but only time will tell.

The new build is up, you should check it out.
