GPS is a major plugin. that will be one of our first ones, we are testing many differnant types of GPS recievers as well as software, we will keep you all posted.
as of now it is skinnable, however we wont be making a skin editor until just before the final version one is released. im sure some of you will figure it out on your own for now.
does support DVD, Video, and MP3 now, future enhancements are: Radio, Relay control, PDA Remote interface, GPS, OBDII, and CAN bus.
structure of MMC is designed that other hardware manufacturers can make plugins for there devices to work with this software.

thats what i stated, we ported over the visuals from sonique so you could start downloading and using them, we started with sonique because I feel it had better visuals than winamp, but we will support all of them, just takes time

Thanks for the comments! Yes you can change it. Just change the file name in the config file.

Would it be too much of a pain to add a button to cycle through the visuals?

Readme file
Just want to give you all a heads up. Make sure to read the README.RTF file. It has some useful info in it regarding the app.
Thanks again everyone for the feedback and kind words. We hope to keep adding to the application until it has everything we all possibly need for our cars.

No, I will add one for the next minor release. We just wanted to get this release out there to make sure we are heading in the right direction for the users.
Thanks

haha...I like that too....this is pretty solid, even though it is an alpha release im sure you will find it very well structured, we ran some tests over a network adding songs to the database...1000 songs took winamp just under 3min ours took 28sec. no loading screens between selections either just touch and go.....we have been working hard to get this to you guys, last saturday we didnt go to sleep till 5am now thats dedication!....I hope everyone has good luck with it, we really put it through its test....there are a few functionability bugs you might come accross but we are gonna continue to update this about once a day.
