Can you display the details of the error message and post a screen shot? I will help you get it running. It will also help us find a bug that has been haunting us for some time now on random machines.

Thanks

Few notes. can I add video extensions? It doesn't recognize divx or mp4. If I rename to avi they play...except the mp4 which only the video plays. fyi I use nero recode to make the mp4's. Also is there a way to resize the window?

The one thing I'm having some problems with is when going from dvd to something else it hangs up. It may just be me but it take a long time for it to switch.

when it's trying to switch between modes (or movies) there is a delay sometimes. It doesn't like it when you try clicking something else while it is trying to switch.

Oh man - this is what I am looking for. I was originally planning on going with RR but I hate Winamp. An integrated solution with minimum dependencies fits the bill. I'm currently running on my development machine and have only noticed a few things

◙ Video sometimes doesn't sync with Audio if you move the progress slider.
◙ No clock or date.
◙ Uncontrolled handler in the visualizations usually caused by flash? As listed by the error details
◙ It would be nice to have a sub sort to the Music list ex Artist / Album.

I'm looking forward to skinning and do you plan on releasing a most feature enabled version of the new release?

FYI my development system is an old 1.2G Athlon system and it runs really fast.

I hope this gets moving again since I think it has a lot of potential. Once the masses try this out and hopefully a SDK or something similar will be available.

Features I would like to see

◙ Phone support
◙ Info center (weather, traffic, OBD support, etc)
◙ Keyboard Support
◙ Skin chooser within app

Again it looks like a winner

The new release still doesnt save my last selection for how I want to browse my MP3's. Dont know if I installed the wrong release or not. I used the link above. Other than that, yeah, still a good program. Time would be good though, date and time.

Try deleting your Temp files. Try saving the file to a location if you are choosing the run option on download.
Also check to see if the Windows installer service is running. Other than that you can try redownloading the file. Delete the first one you downloaded plus your internet cache and try again. 2755 is a generic type of error so I appoligize I can't provide more help. Are there other errors besides 2755 say a 16xx error?

I will release an update tomorrow (Monday evening) that will address this issue and other bugs that have been found.

Thanks!

Thanks Deric!

I will work on these issues. I appreciate the feedback and suggestions. I will be adding keyboard (shortcuts) support on the next build. I am also working on the other things you mentioned too and will release them as I finish them...

I am going to use FreeDrive for now and we are going to work on our own GPS solution. I will also post instructions on how to embed your fav GPS app into MMC. I am working on MMC Studio which is a complete dev environment for MMC. It will allow you to create/edit skins and write scripting code to extend MMC (plug-ins, mods, etc)

Thanks

I will check this out and also create a way to allow users to add new file ext for there files.
