[FRONTEND] MMC New Release 11.13.2006

Here is the newest release...

Webcam (reverse cam) support is now turned on. Middle button on main menu.

EQ settings now save and reload properly.

Bug fixes

Next release will include keyboard shortcuts and embedded apps. I will write up some documentation on how to edit the skins and link up your own applications, including your favorite GPS. I think I am just going to embed Freedrive for now until we figure out the way we want to go on integrated GPS.

I downloaded and installed it last night.
1) Date and time does not show anywhere
2) When playing an AVI in widescreen format when I click the full screen mode the picture gets stretched.

Date and Time issue will be fixed on next release.

I will need to look into the stretching issue. I have not been testing on the widescreen format touch screens, so I am sure this is the issue.

What screen are you using?

I am using lilliput (8") touch screen LCD. But I don't think its its an issue with the screen but within the application itself. I have tested playing the same video (using media player) on the same screen.

STILL Not saving my choice of browsing the media files. Dont know what Im doing wrong. Ill download the newest version after you fix the video, see if that works.

Nope. I found the bug your talking about! I will be releasing a fix this evening. I was going to release one last night, but was stuck at work all day

The release tonight has your fix, the video stretching fix, and the date and time fix.

Bit, just wanted to drop you a line to let you know MMC is *awesome*! Also, wanted to say thanks for being so generous with your code. Sure MMC isnt perfect, and some of the features are disabled, but it's got fantastic potential to be the premier in-car system. The dependancy list is simple and the interface is great. Thanks again!

Thank you very much. I will keep coding my butt off and with all of your help and feedback, we will make this a good piece of software for us to use

Yes... I want this to be very solid. So anything that does not seem to work the way that is expected... let me know. I will be posting a new version here shortly. I would say around 9PM EST.
