Talking [FRONTEND] MMC New Release 11.20.2006

Okay guys.

Here is the latest update.

Features now enabled:

- Photo Viewer (Top Middle Icon on Main)
- Reverse Camera (Middle Row, Middle Icon on Main)

Fixes:

- Date and Time not showing
- Video aspect ratio display problem (I would like more feedback on this, but my test seem seem to be good)
- Saving settings, including last list mode.
- Speed optimizations in some places.

What's Next:

- Embedded GPS (Prob Freedrive for now, we are working on our own integrated version)
- XM Radio (total rewrite of library with Sirius Support almost completed as well)
- iPod support
- Lots more stuff coming...

Have fun and please provide feedback and bugs!

Good news. Keep beating on it and let me know what you come up with. I am already finishing up the XM today and I hope to have it ready for a release tonight We will see.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

XM! XM! XM! this is the only thing I'm waiting for to install it on the car-mada-puter. Not trying to rush you though as I'd rather have nothing than something that isn't stable. Just thought I'd post since I've been checking in here about twice a day for a week now.

I had to finish up a big project for MTV this week, so sorry for the delays. I am working on the XM library and XM integration right now. I have the XM running smoothly and just finishing up some features (XM Artwork, XM Signal, XM Playlist)

I will release it sometime this evening. No promises as to what time, but it will be released. The next release will feature FreeDrive embeded as GPS for now. I can work on embedding other popular GPS software with the help of you guys.

Thanks for all the support and feedback.

I'm also getting the error when pausing mp3's (by clicking on play button). I'm also getting an error when I click on a directory in my picture folder. Looking forward to GPS and satelllite radio. Keep up the good work

Heres a question, other than modifying the shell though regedit, how can I make this front end my shell? Is there a way to do that in the future through the settings?

I have also found that the EQ settings do not restore after exiting in this release. I am very pleased with this front end. I will definately be running this one when it is final. Great work!
