wish I was till in the baltimore area I'm pretty sure it would probably work in the upper marlboro area which i'm originally from this is pretty nice for a mobile/carpc computing

Yeah so how exactly do you sign up for this if you dont have a baltimore address?

I heard folks were using fake addresses, then changing it once the account was created with their real ones.

Anyone try this?

I've had this service going on two years from ClearWire. At the onset, it wasn't something to phone home about because bandwidth throughput was very slow. However, as the coverage area became more widespread, download/upload speeds increased dramatically. Signal quality has been very reliable here in Washington state.

In the coming months, the Clear™ brand will replace the XOHM service name previously used by Sprint Nextel in the Baltimore, Md., market. Clearwire expects current XOHM customers to experience a seamless transition, and they will continue to enjoy the current benefits of their devices, service plans and features.

just saw this article on engadget might be the best place to go especially since there movin to wimax

hopefully they have some pretty decent plans were it doesn't hurt you pockets but gives you pretty good speeds
