Ill let you guys know if it works!

It isnt going to work. You cannot convert directly from the PC. You need a special processing chip to convert it to analog for the screen. The D at the end in DVI-D stands for Digital, all our screens are Analog. http://www.hdfury.com/

Ok Ive tested it. HiJackZX1 is right

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...EOIBSA:NL:1123 doesn't work on the D945GSEJT (just tested it myself)

At least i can say that for a few euro's i know for sure

I am not gonna buy a adapter/converter from hdfury.com... it costs more than the motherboard itself!

trader007 can only hope to improve
i assuming the biggest draw to this setup is size? theyre talking about the 1a power draw, which is nice, but for 2a at idle and 6a full load you can use a late model mATX setup with a 35w processor- its not that much larger, not that much more power draw and a hell of a lot faster.

You are right, these converters are expensive. The HD FURY is actually the cheapest I could find at the time. I think I bought mine for $115.00 off ebay. I bought this for my expensive KINO though, which ran me about $300.00 with all components added. I didnt have room for a second graphics card, so I had to use the DVI-D port. I guess its safe to say that the INTEL is best for people that dont need multi monitor applications, unless they do not mind adding a graphics card.

I do not think these boards will ever go over 2amps if a Powered External hub is used. On my proposed setup, the keyboard and mouse are powered by the main system, via a KVM switch. So its basically just a 1 usb port, HDD, and thats about it. So I expect about 1.5 - 2 amp draw or less. This board is very very good if you plan out how you power the USB devices.
