I don't deal directly with store items like this, but I would like to say that I've never once seen a USPS tracking be accurate. A NUMBER of times when I've had something shipped via USPS I get a notice from the retailer that the item has shipped but when I check the USPS tracking it doesn't relate. I receive the item within a time frame that ads up to the item actually being shipped when the company stated, NOT when USPS stated.

Well USPS is always wrong. They dont track at all.
When we ship via USPS, sometimes it pops up right away, sometimes it doesnt show anything until the first scan behind the scenes. I would trust a live person over the crap USPS calls tracking. Also keep in mind this is CES time.

if you were really that worried about when ur package would arrive why wouldnt you use a shipping company that tracks there package. They do give the option of UPS, and that is the only option i use

Agreed. Sounds to me like you are making more out of this then there really is. I usually pay extra for UPS or FEDEX if I'm worried about getting the products in a hurry. Also I've had only good experiences ordering from MP3car.

I would just like to say that in contrast, I have ordered from MP3car before and have never had any problem with shipping speed or customer service.
Also, as stated before USPS tracking system is a joke. Most of the time Ive used their tracking system, it doesn't ever show any record of the tracking number until after I have already received the package.
Using UPS will resolve most of your tracking issues. It doesn't cost that much more.
Ive used eBay for about 7 years and I have about 280 positive feedback comments (100% positive) Out of those transactions, about 50% of them I was the seller and 50% I was the buyer. The shipping issues in this thread are nothing to get all huffy about in a public forum.
Some delays should be expected when buying over the internet or phone and having them shipped. The fact that the order page was not instantly updated with the tracking number may have been just a glitch with the MP3car store software.
Take it easy.

So since your are in customer service you know that 99% of customer's lie to begin with, so I guess you are in that 1%. Then about half of that 1% really have a true problem, the others are just uninformed buyers.
Also, unless you paid for overnight shipping and express processing of your order, I have a hard time seeing what your problem is. Give it 7 days. You ordered Tuesday, so wait till next Tuesday. If it has not shown up in a week, then complain.
USPS's tracking in general sucks, I have had many packages arrive without the information ever being updated until after I have received it.

THE SHIPPING IS NOT THE ISSUE!!!
The only reason the first 3 were mentioned is because they showed a pattern of slow shipping. NOT USPS! Order is one day, but the package doesn't actually ship, BY MP3CAR ORDER PAGE for 2 days to 2 weeks consistantly. No shipper can ship faster if THEY DON'T HAVE THE PACKAGE!
THE REASON FOR THE POST IS BECAUSE BY MAKING UP A STORY THAT THE PACKAGE SHIPPED THE DAY BEFORE, THEY TOOK AWAY ANY POSSIBLITY OF OTHER FASTER ARRANGEMENTS! THIS IS BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ANYONE'S BOOK! MAKING EXCUSES FOR IT ISN'T GOING TO MAKE THEM A BETTER COMPANY.
I CAN'T PAY FOR OVERNIGHT SHIPPING IF I AM MADE TO BELIEVE THE PACKAGE WAS ALREADY SHIPPED! AND WHY WOULD I BE MAKING SUCH A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOT BEING ABLE TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING IF I'M LYING. JESUS CHRIST, SOME PEOPLE CAN BE DENSE.
99% OF CUSTOMERS LIE????!! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS STUPID STAT?? I HAVE CUSTOMERS ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND i CAN'T THINK OF 1% THAT LIE.
Well if you NEED the package by the 14th, you should have paid for better shipping on the 8th when you ordered it. You knew it takes at least 2 days for your order to be processed. You should have expressed your NEED to have the package arrive by the 14th when you ordered on the 8th. So, unless we are missing part of the story and you were promised it would arrive by the 14th, what is the big deal? Even then the 14th is Monday and your package may arrive on time.
I do not see any where on the store's site that states orders ship the same or even the next day, unless you pay for guaranteed express processing.

So you order something and it takes 2 or 3 days to get shiped and you complain about it? Since you weren't willing to pay more for ups for faster shipping I doubt you were in any hurry.
2-3 days from order to shipping isn't to bad. I have had to wait longer times when ordering from amazon and even Walmart website.
I ordered two day shipping from Walmart and it took them 4 days before it was even shipping.
/quote
but they do give the proper date when the shipping label is created
/quote
I am guessing you don't have muh experience with them then because I have had packages show up one day aftem saying they just got electronically notified by the shipper.
So title should read 4 orders , 0 bad experience 1 impatient customer

Good job! Oh, and by the way, I have over 400 feedbacks on e-bay as a buyer and seller without a SINGLE negative.
No one called you anything. If anything you read more into my comment than was there.
You made this public yourself by posting on a public forum, instead of more direct and private means.
With the exception of the order placed in Dec, you have had decent service from MP3car, all other orders arrived within 7 days.
You stated it takes USPS two days to deliver from ship date, so your package should arrive Monday (14th) and by the lastest Tuesday, within 7 days.
If you are really upset with the fact that they (store staff) might have lied, then call them and talk directly to them.
So lets stop and have a

I do not think you will find a sympathetic crowd here.
I think you are out of bounds in your choice of format, and venue. Most of us are far more loyal to the site than to you.
You are fairly new... I read your rant and believe you are whining about not getting your spoon instantly delivered.
If you really have a problem vote with your dollars and stop blathering on about it.
To assure you of the effect your posts have. I am more inclined to do business with the store here than before your posts.
BTW: Stop posting in all caps. It really is a poor reflection on you.
Enjoy your day.

I havent purchased anything from mp3car.com personally, so i cant attest to their shipping practices. That being said, i do order almost everything over the internet. Unless its groceries, chances are it came from a online retailer. Why? i can usually get better prices online, and, more product knowledge for most things from the retailers. The flip side to doing that? I have to wait. Nothing is here the moment i pay for it. 7 days is a standard time to wait for a package. Its coming ground, so you never know what it can run into. Bad weather, accident on the roadways, mishandling at a shipping facility. Having worked for Fedex, i can attest first hand that no one is perfect and often times packages dont take the most direct route because of human error.
The bottom line? You pt yourself in this position by passing responsibilites off to the retailer. If you knew that you needed certain components in 6 days, you should have taken matters into your own hands and sourced them locally to ensure you or you customers were taken care of. Standard shipping is 5 business days. your order was placed on a tuesday, so it was processed that day best case scenario. That means your package would have shipped wednesday, the 9th. Following 5 business day, that means you package would not arrive until tuesday the 15th, at the earliest.
Think before you bash a company due to your own shortfalls in forsight.

your product doesn't ship until the paperwork is processed. Just because you turned in the paperwork doesn't mean you automatically get the product. That's the case with any paperwork.
