There, The store has a process that does not include "Angry Mobs" which is the name of the emote icon you used. Thus my comments about the Mob.

Relax and let the store resolve this.

We still have not received a ticket from this customer. Really, we are happy to help and we are surprised by your description of the product?

What was your order number?

Interesting situation. I bought a replacement touchscreen for an old model lilliput. I received the package today and the first thing I noticed when opening it is that the screen is used and it has a BIG scratch on top the actually cut one of the embedded wires. Heres picture of what im talking about:

you can see the scratch and cut wire on center top
(Order#: 30010 placed on 8/12/2008)

I sent an email tonight to orders@mp3car.com stating that the screen is clearly used, it wont work as its scratched and one of the wires is cut and that the product description doe snot state its a used part. Everyone is entitled to the benefit of doubt and hopefully I'll receive an answer tomorrow morning and a NEW touchscreen this weekend. But it is still suspicious that this is happening to other people too.

I have faith that this is just a mistake. I chose mp3car store instead of a honk kong vendor even though mp3car store was more expensive hoping to get good service.

Heather from mp3car store contacted me and everything is solved now. They are going to send me a replacement screen today.
She explained that these replacement touchscreens are pulled from new monitors that were never used. That explains why they have foam glued to the connector. In this case it seems the screen got scratched while in storage and they didn't catch the problem before mailing it.
She updated the product description to reflect where the touchscreens come from.

The Product description should have been updated a long time ago - but it is clear now.

These are not used, but they are pulled from monitors. A few customers seemed to have received scratched screens - this is just from storage issues, which have been changed.

I hope that this clears things up.

I received a replacement screen yesterday and installed it today. It works perfectly. The touchscreen I received yesterday looks brand new with not even a speck of dust. It has the infamous glued foam but the screen is in brand new perfect condition.

thanks heather
