Forum not letting me do everything

Sorry for posting this here if it's the wrong spot, I've sent messages to the administrators a couple times and haven't gotten any responses. I signed up for this forum a couple weeks ago, and though I can reply to other people's posts, and I guess now that I'm creating this I can create posts; there are several things that I can't do. I can send a PM to someone, but I cannot send an email message to someone. I also cannot create a new classified ad, but I can respond to other people's classified ad's. And my message storage says I can only have 5 messages in my box. the forum at Centrafuse.com allows me 200 messages in my box, so 5 seems REALLY low.

When I try to send the email messages or post a new classified ad, it gives me a message that I don't not have access for what I'm trying to do. I did activate my account from the email that was sent to me when I signed up so I don't know what else I need to do to get full rights here.

Can someone help since the admin's don't seem to be responding to me?

Your first few posts are moderated and must be approved before they will appear. This is for spam purposes. Since mods are volunteers, we sometimes approve the posts right away and sometimes it takes awhile. Occasionally they get lost in the queue.

Classifieds are the same way. The classifieds are for the members of the community, not just anyone who wants to sell stuff but not contribute to the community. This change was made because while mp3car is not responsible for scams, they were occurring in the classifieds and mp3car was asked for help in resolving the issue. Investigating the complaints often results in "he-said, she-said" accusations and it was sometimes not clear what the right resolution is.

I can check the email situation, but generally the email access is user-set. If a user selects that he/she is willing to accept email from members of the forum, it will go through. If it is not set, you cannot send it. You may try emailing me and see if it works as mine is turned on.

I'll check the 5 message limit. I think it should be 100.

You are part of the Active Users group. That group has a message limit of 100 messages. If you find this is not the case, let me know.
