i dont know if i'll be able to make saturdays.. my pc isnt in yet because an ebay guy sent me a defective drive and i got some repairs i gotta make tot he car tomorrow to pass emissions. Guess i'll know more tomorrow morning.

ummm guys. dang, I hate to do this, especially since I'm actually off this weekend, but I don't think I'm gonna be able to make this one. The cobra was sounding/running sickly on the way home so I've gotta hop under the hood tomorrow and see what's going on. I'm gonna try, but ummm you might wanna count on me not being there and being surprised if I do... Sorry :/

There's a good chance I won't be making it as well. I really need to get some packing done as well as some yard work. Also if it rains this morning, I'm definitely out. The cobra hasn't been in the rain once since I took ownership of it and I'm not planning to change that.

Just getting into the hobby
Hello all,
My names Ron and I just recently purchased a 2004 G35 (2 Door Coupe 6MT). I am looking to get in the hobby. I live in Germantown, MD and one of the other members referred me to the thread. Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully I will be able to come out to the next meet! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Welcome, Ron. It's a great hobby, but frustrating at times. Lately, it seems that I have been spending three hours pulling my hair out for every hour I spend enjoying my carputer. Of course, it's probably my fault because I continuously violate the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" rule. Anyway, this forum is full of people with IQs about fifty points higher than mine who are willing to help. There is a wealth of knowledge here and it's likely that whatever questions you have have been answered many times.

@ Everyone... hey guys/gals, not sure if the monthly meet is/was on for this weekend, but I won't be able to make it if it is. I'm in a motorcycle course NOV 16-18. Seems like I haven't been able to make the past couple.. well hopefully soon. Just gotta hope things work out right... things are crazy right now. Peace...

welcome ron.. and i dont think we're gonna be having one for november. Things tend to slow down the closer to the holidays it gets. I will be goin to the other NOVA meet this friday night though at fairfax towne center. Any of the regulars here goin ?

Hmm, I haven't been to one in a while. Is the Fairfax meet an MP3car meet of something different? I might have a hard time getting a hall pass on a Friday night.

the friday night thing is a general car show... they always have huge turnouts though. The last one i went to had somethin like 150 cars show up. Here's the thread about it
