Yes, the meets are always on, unless posted otherwise
and speaking of which...
it's time to start figuring out how many people will be there so we can figure out the food/supplies for the cookout. Post and let us know you're coming and if you're bringing anything. See the first post for more info. I hope to see a big turnout this month.

As long as it doesn't rain, I'll be there. Let me know what I can bring, preferably not requiring a cooler(the thought of one in the car makes me shudder, I'm way too particular about this car). I actually just finished some new additions to the system this past weekend. Maybe I'll have the rest of the additions in as well. I'm gonna try to convince a friend of mine to come as well.

Just bring whatever you feel like from the list up top. I'll be having a cooler with drinks as well (on top of whatever else is brought). And the more peeps, the merrier. We're going Regional Baby.. lol
Can't wait to see all these improvements/addons. All I did was add boost mobile

I'm sorry to say that I will not be sure until Saturday whether I will make it or not (early a.m. appointment in Philly, and it's a long drive...); but I will try, and although I can't be counted on to bring food/supplies, if I come, I will bring donation of some sort if necessary.
Either that, or I will allow lucky listeners the opportunity to sit in my car and sample my delicious sounding car stereo, so long as there are no muddy shoes.
...Ok, so that was egotistical and uncalled for...the system is by no means pro, and I have nowhere near Homebrew's...well...homebrewed install skills...but I love it to death...I was listening to a Beck CD the other day, and it made me giddy, and...I want to allow others to experience it, staging is much improved over last visit, and imaging is dialed in spot-on.
...let's just say I'll try to make it.

Improved? My god, it was phenominal last time. Have you gotten the rest of the speakers going yet? You only had the highs going last time, correct? You're audio setup humbles my fabrication. Any news on that front? Have you messed with the trim for the sound processor any more?

I have no plans to do the rest of the speakers (for now...possible future project)...for my listening purposes, I run only the front stage, and if I want, I can source from the factory head unit and have the whole 5.1 setup running (albeit with mis-matched speakers). I'd actually be more interested in going to a three-way speaker (midbass, mid, tweet) set for the front stage and moving the tweets to the a-pillars to gain a little stage height before I'd even think of providing for additional channels of output (center, rear surround). Additional speakers for two-channel sources can hinder a good sound stage as much as they help, if you don't do a lot of tuning and process the sound properly.
I sure ain't missing that center channel on my dash, nor do I feel a need for new rear-deck speakers.
I'll be working on the sound processor trim over the next few days, as well as getting my tweeters set up right. I just finished the amp rack in the trunk, all I have to do there is fab the false bottom (easy). Still agonizing over that HVAC display LCD I moved...I can make it look good, but it's prone to movement and I can't help but thinking it could be better.

Yeah...good thing my audio sensibilities (two sets of drivers for two channel sources) are in line with my checkbook.
....well, somewhat, anyway. The wife already refers to my car as "that other woman".

Well it's looking like a rainy day saturday, so I won't make it more than likely. My baby hasn't seen rain since I've owned it. I'm crossing my fingers that this weather system moves on instead of stalling.
