Thanks to everyone who came out. It was great seeing familiar faces (though I'm horrible with names lol) and seeing some new faces as well. Decent turn out and I hope, a good time enjoyed by all
Turkey Run seems like a great place for these meets, no entry fee, low traffic/visitors so plenty of parking/picnic tables and easier to get to than Great Falls or Tysons Corner.
We need more of you local folk to come on out though lol. I know there are more of ya out there, and we're grill'n at these meets now, so come grab some grub (hopefully my gril'n was ok too lol). Thanks again to all who came and those who brought supplies for the cookout. Hope to see you all and more at the next meet
Cheers,
The W3bMa5t3r - aka Steve

It was good to see everyone again as well as to meet spouses and Sonic's cute little one. Sorry we couldn't stay longer, but Wifey wanted to get back to watch the Preakness. I told her we could probably watch it in one of your cars, but she didn't go for it. Thanks for putting it together, Steve.

I came around 3:15 or so, but I don't think I was in the right place. I ended up on some nasty a$$ gravel road at one point . Needless to say I was not happy about that, my paint is too expensive to be screwing around with. On top of that, I wasn't feeling that well, so I didn't hunt as hard for the right spot as I normally would have. Sorry I missed it guys. I'm gonna do better to make the next one.

Sorry you missed us. We were the first left when after coming off of GW Parkway. Area C-1 I think we were there till around 5 or so. Sorry about the gravel road though... I'm not even sure where that's at. Glad you got the Cobra up and running. Hope to see you at the next one.

No worries about leaving us We're glad you made it out. We ended up killing ourselves making a run down to the river and back up and split sometime after that. HMMM next project, a widescreen TV that slides out off the top of my backseat area with an Aerial HDTV or DirectTV hookup.
Anywho... glad we could do this and I hope to see everyone at the next one..
Cheers, The W3bMa5t3r aka Steve

i'm not sure if this is such a good idea being that the weather's about to start gettin warmer but how about one of the next meets be a install/setup/config meet. Maybe the turnout would grow if people without carpc's but interested in the ideas behind it come. You could even invite your friend lowell and we could get him started. Just an idea though.

Sounds like a plan to me. Not sure when Lowell is starting up but yeah, a install/setup/config meet would be cool. What'd be great is if we could get a garage or bay to do it in without issues from 'guards'... but I'm at a loss on that end. If anyone knows anyone, have your people call their people and see what we can do

I figured out where I went wrong finding the place saturday. Very, very, very, very stupid and embarassing. I'm not going to tell you guys what I did, but I will say that it pays to pay attention and details matter. I was within the right city. I can't believe I did what I did. I must have been sicker than I thought. A fever, yes, thats what caused it. I was delirious..........<whispers under breath>I think they're buying it</whipsers>
