as far as the meet goes... so we have 2-3 confirmed/possibles? :-\ Should we cancel this one and just hit up next months? Let us know...

long story... but basically the car was hit while parked.. then towed to a lot sunday to wait for the shop to open monday then stolen from there. Thing is half my computer stuff was outta the car anyway because my psu died and i was taking the time to organize my snake pit of wires lol. Only things MAJOR that were in the car were my amps, subbox, my sound card and second battery. Police are investigating the matter cause i'm 90% sure the DRIVER of the tow truck did the ****.

I'm probably taking it alot better than i should be.. probably because the car had some mechanical issues and because i have a 3rd car thats just been sitting that i can use to commute. My plan for now is to just drive it around for a few months until i can save up enough to pick up an rx-8 or somethin of that nature ( just bought my wife a new minivan so i can splurge like that lol) Anyways i'll still be attending some of the meets and still be active on here... i just cant make this one for obvious reasons.

I'll also probably just end up selling MOST of my pc parts and picking up the all-n-one unit mp3car store carries. Wont be using SD on it though (am i allowed to say that??? i skipped over the new rules lol)

Sorry to hear that bro, any loss sucks when you've put time/money/blood/sweat/tears into it... but that's good you have another ride for the temp usage. I hope the cops get those *$#%#'n Bastards... I can't believe a person that is in a market to assist people would be so fk'd in the head... but this world is.. so... whatever.. lmk if you need some deportation help

Man, Sonic I am so sorry about what happened to your car...I do know that a lot of times, thieves will watch mechanic shops and the like for parked cars outside the place, because they know no one's around outside of business hours. The driver could possibly have notified some malcontents about the presence of the car, tho, or did the theft himself, I guess. Anyway, hope you get things recovered/replaced quickly. I know what it's like, I had my car stolen by a 13-year-old kid while I was parked at a friend's house when I was living in Jax, FL. I was Navy at the time, and living aboard ship, so a LOT of my personal possessions were in the trunk. Nothing was recovered except the car, minus the stereo, of course.

My condolences Shawn, although it does seem like you're taking it OK. I was going to say I bet the thieves didn't know they were getting a CarPC with the car and they were really really impressed at least. But if you took the PC out then OK, they didn't get it at least. Anyway yeah, the whole thing sucks man.

Since I barely have time to say Hi, I wouldn't mind just waiting 'till... July 21? I guess.

Hey guys... ummmm I'll be at Turkey Run @ 2pm, same place as last if you wanna meet up. I'm not sure how many folk are gonna show, but I'll be there. I'm in the middle of my work week and working 12+ hour days so my car won't be washed.. but it'll be there.

I can bring some rinseless wash with me. Anything to keep a fellow cobra clean.

On a side note, sorry i'm not very vocal guys, I just have so many interests, I'm constantly checking like 10 message boards. Between that, work, and actually working on my projects, I have little time. With that said, I'd like to thank Steve for all his work keeping these events going. I don't think he had this much responsibilty in mind when he started this, but kudos for keeping it going.
