It went alrgight

I got there and my system would not even boot. So I spent my time finishing some wiring and putting all the vehicle side panels back on. It was a lot of fun. :-)

Then bostone needed a jump because he ran his computer for quite sometime with out his truck running. He should like his new opus as I beleive it has a feature to check battery power.

All in all it was pretty good. I think the next one will have to be when its warmer as it was pretty chilly and hopefulyl we can get more people to come.

It was pretty cold on Sunday. Today would have been a great day except for the whole Wednesday thing.

Any other comments?

Yeah she was a ditz

She was I am guessing 40 years old trying to act like she is 20.

We were joking around with her and she didn't get the jokes! hehe

Talking Dohhh!

Sorry about that pigseye! :-)

You know the type though. The older ones that try WAY TO HARD to be cool! :-) Most of the time if they are themselves they are much cooler than when they try! hehe

I want to be cool too!

No problem, you know I was kidding. But I do know the type.

Nolmschied, did you come up from Shakopee? That's a little bit of a trip. Sure wish I could have been there.

In the end, how many attended? I would really like to have another one in the spring. Maybe I'll have more of my own system ready then.

Right now, the only thing I had was an old P233 on the floor of my truck with an inverter, fullsize keyboard, and a cassette adapter. No LCD, thus you just had to push buttons until the music started. Incredibly primitive but my 7 year old daughter thought it was great.

I'm still assembling the components for my Intrepid and hope to have in-dash, a DennisK LCD, laptop DVD drive, and USB connection. The PC wil be in the trunk.

I wish I had more time to work on it though.

I also wish I was real cool like that waitress at TGIF's. Oh well, maybe someday.

Thanks,
Pigseye

Yup...from Shakopee

Yeah Pigseye, I came up from Shakopee. Thats no biggie for me. I drive up that direction quite often. Like an everyday trip.

(I only drive 3 miles to work, so its good to drive sometimes)

My very first TruckPC was barely booted by the time I got to work! My new one boots quite fast....I was showing that to Freestyler last night telling him I wanted it FASTER....he laughed because its already pretty fast...about 25-30 secs I beleive.

I am sure you are WAAAAY cooler than the lady at Fridays! :-)

Peace
Nathan

P.S. I totally am up for another meet as I kind of messed up at the last one trying to figure out what the heck happened to my drive! Soon winter will be over! hehe...ohh wait...its just starting.

So how many people showed up? Was it just Nolmscheid and Freestyler?

It had to be better than that even with the crappy weather.
