It was EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTING to say the least. There was only 3 cars that turned up (including me) and I knew the other two guys personally anyway. I had 2 people from the above list tell me they wern't going to be able to make it. There should have been at least another 6 cars. I even chose a location towards the south of Sydney so it made it easier the Wollongong guys to make it.
Let's just say that I won't waste my time again.
Biggy, sorry I didn't take any pics.

so k. Pitty about the attendance. I think maybe we should time a meet with an aus wide function and give everyone another reason to come. Like AFL grand final in Melb... or bathurst 1000 maybe.

Meddler i pm'd you saying unable to attend, Anywayiam still trying to figure out how to install without destroying behind the dash it's busy enough trying to wire in climate control once you seen one camry you've seen them all (YES IAM CRANKY) need to replace all seals on the doors thanks to family members slamming doors allowing petrol fumes in and someone stole a tyre valve(replaced the valve only still waiting on new door seals)

Yes I appreciate that you pm'd me Rissole. You were on of the two I was talking about in post #35. But there should have been at least another 6 that pm'd me as well. I had other things I could have been doing that morning.
It's an '05 model and you are replacing door seals?!?!?! I would expect better from toyota, even if your family does slam doors. There are plenty of options for fitting stuff into the dash. Start a thread with some pictures and I might be able to give you some ideas.

Meddler with the way my family slams the doors iam lucky i don't have to replace the windows as well. now waiting on another climate control wirering harness the new door seals went in so rediculously easy i pulled them out and re did them twice just tp make sure they were mounted properly(one word BLISS) no fumes and minimal road noise just awesome

iam just keeping it simple with the underdash wirering, i've been denied the install for the car pc so that should give me enough time to do a complete and custom mounting system and the screen i want should be cheap enough will upgrade components as well, my car has copped a flogging as i lived in the bush and took it (supposedly)four wheel driving so there was a heap of dust and ****e helping to destroy the seals since moving the Syd the most dirt it sees is the front lawn and the paddock at Oran Park race course
