Sorry guys, Im not gonna be able to make this meet

My Birthday was a couple days ago, and a few friends are taking me out drinking / bar hopping tonight. I will be in no condition to leave here at 5:30 am ish to get there.

I just got back from CES in Las Vegas a few days ago, and its actually nice to be back home, and such. I spent 4 days in Vegas then drove 6 hours to Phoenix to visit my mom, then 6 hours back a few days later. Thats enough driving for me for a bit hehe.

I will definitely make the next meet though! I hate missing this one already.

I am bringing all my computer stuff. So. if you guys are looking to buy parts I will be selling stuff at good prices.

And I still have the Powermate if someone wants to buy. I still have not heard from the guy who said he was buying it.

It was great to meet all of you today.

Thanks for showing off your systems, and giving this noob some ideas. I'm not sure that I'll have something together for the next meet, but I think I'll at least start working on it.

there were about 9-10 of us total, and about 7 or 8 cars...was a fun meet...and now i wanna light mice on fire and throw them from the top of a building...

Yeah thanks alot for all the feedback and advice! It was nice to finally get to meet alot of you guys now if we could just postpone the next meet for about 6 months so i can finish all the projects i "acquired" at the meet it would be greatly appreciated.

I actually got stuck in traffic due to an accident for about 45 minutes on my way home and already had a chance to install Defilers powermate along with the software (thanks to that little mobile broadband card i was talking about) and im IN LOVE with that thing already!

Anyhow! my vote is already in for tampa for the next meet so i can hit up some parks omw up there and while im there!

i cant click on the link since they block ebay at work....but from the address bar on the bottom...those are close...the 60.7's are great. since i cant see the auction, i dont know the price, but if its cheaper than it is here for 133 and some change, then I would get them...all the reviews i have read are great...the ones i mentioned are the Kappa Perfects, but the 60.7 has a larger frequency bandwidth so you can get lower and higher frequencies out of them (if you can hear them, cause 25K is outside most peoples hearing range)

go with the 60.7's if you cant find the perfects for a cheaper price...you'll be very happy with either one...especially at $133...

also, if Infinity says you need 16AWG wire, put in 14 for good measure...trust me...and sodder on the wires to the speakers...dont just hope they will stay on.

Sounds like it was a good meet! I wish I could have been there. This is the first one I have missed in the past 5.

Now to figure out where to do the next one. 2 in a row in South Florida, one in North Eastern Florida...... Wonder if Daytona, Vero Beach or somewhere like that would be good for the next one?
