<cough> yea... I would be embarrassed too
JK Yea, Frodo is a nice front end for sure, but just not flexible enough, for me at least. And I do remember you saying in Tampa, that the main reason you liked it was the fact of the music browsing abilities. The new RR database, does everything Frodo does, and sooooo much more. You can check it out at the meet and let me know what you honestly think, from an objective point of view.

a very VERY good reason to attend This Florida CarPC Meet :)
Ok, if you were thinking on going to the meet, Here is a really good reason to attend
I have been talking to Heather at MP3Car. She has donated some t-shirts to give away at the meet.
If that's not enough, how would you like a chance to win this:
The MP3Car Store has most generously donated a new high-end Logitec keyboard that someone at the meet is going to go home with. This keyboard retails for $149.00.
It has a flip cover for storage in the glove box, between the seats, and never worry about keys being pressed. It also has back lighting for each individual key that will illuminate the keys only when it's dark to conserve the batteries.
When you are looking for something for your CarPC, or recommending something to a friend, please keep the Mp3Car store in mind, they are what make the forums free for all of us to use.
Here is link to all the specs on the keyboard.
I will be getting everyones name on a slip of paper, and putting them in a hat. Names will be drawn until the shirts are gone, and someone has a very high end keyboard to go home with As for those that don't win this one, They will soon be available in the MP3Car store.
It is not mandatory, but I ask that you do a review of the keyboard, and drop it to me in an email or PM. Just describe what you like, don't like or what you feel would help others when considering purchasing one. My email is the same as my forum screen name @gmail.com. I will get this to Heather as a thanks for the generous donation. They are working hard on getting real-world reviews, from us the users, for people to read and get ideas when researching a purchase in store.

For the most part, with RR CPU usage, it is a matter of getting all the drivers, flash and everything working correctly on the PC. Once this is done, CPU usage is next to nothing.
I have Road Runner running on THIS BOARD with a 1.8ghz Celleron on it. It is a computer I am building for someone, and is 99% done. Looking over at the screen as I type this message, It is showing between 1% - 6% CPU usage at idle. (Most of the time under 2%, with small spikes every 5 seconds of so do to scripts and back end stuff firing in my skin) My skin has a lot of extra's, some flash, scripts monitoring the CD/DVD to see if a disk has been inserted, checking your GPS location to update labels and weather location, It's the RM Music database (Another external application), and then all the extension plugins that are currently running, Movie Show Times, Screen Lock, Motion Lock and a host of other things. It is a bit more extreme than most skins, and even with all this extra overhead on top of Road Runner, CPU usage is still very minimal.
Now the fun part This is with a large 3meg 3D rotating car image in the center of the main menu screen on the skin. iGuidance is also running in the background. Turning on the visualization on the main menu, as well as the 3D logo at the same time, the CPU jumps between 7% - 14%.
Here is a Screen Capture from that PC with the CPU Usage highlighted:

That sounds great John. T-shirts and a keyboard. If it's anything like the Sarasota meet we practically had a computer flea market going. So there's a good chance everyone can leave with something.
As far as CPU, I'm running a Sempron which is similar to the Celeron and I also have between 3-5% when running GPS, Music, and vis.
BTW I have an AMD board and CPU I will be giving to whoever is interested. It is a MATX
which is 9.5" x 9.5"
