Another note: Make sure to bring any hardware that you want to sell, trade, or just plain give away. At the last meet I was at, one person was fairly new to the whole CarPC thing, and people have him just about enough stuff to get him completely set up! This is a great group of people, and a great way to spread some good Carma
I am gonna rummage through the junk drawers here and see what I can bring to give away. Remember what may not have worked or is junk can work, or is treasure to others
I'm also gonna bring a cooler, some Ice and soda's. If anyone else wants to bring soda's chips or other snacks, please feel free to do so!
For anyone that has not been to this park:
It is a grassy area you can park where every you want, with lots of shade trees and a picnic table, and is right on a lake.

BTW whoever it was at the last meet that I promised to mail the mic for the H700 please remind me who you are and your address. I totally forgot about this and I don't want to go back on my word.

Ok, everything arrived today Via UPS from MP3Car. I will bring 5 shirts, some bumper stickers and of course the keyboard
They actually donated 16 shirts! I will be bringing 5 to the next upcoming meets, and one left over for John1701 I already have one from an order I placed a month or so back.
HERE is a link to what the front and back of the shirts look like. See everyone in a few days!

I just stumbled upon this thread. Holy cow, I want me one of those keyboards! Maybe I should fly down for the meet just to take a shot at winning. Seriously, I've been using the Thinkoutside stowaway bluetooth keyboard, now discontinued, for a couple of years and it has been great. But it doesn't have backlighting, requires multiple key presses for numbers and doesn't have a mouse pointer. I promised myself I was going to stop spending money on my carputer, but this is just too tempting.

Thats one thing I hate about the PS3 keyboards, no backlight..... but i do love the size of the PS3 keyboards, especially the newer one tht had the rechargable batteries.

Well see! You just came down here one month to early is all! Plan it out better and next time and you can go to Wellington for the horses on Saturday, and stop by the meet on Sunday

Great idea! I'm going to call the United States Dressage Federation and ask them if they can schedule their Olympic qualifiers on a weekend that the Florida mp3car.com members are having their meet.

See you all in 2 months...I will definately make it to that one....i promise...even if there are no free gifts...
plans i have for my car within 2 months: finally install the new alternator so i can hook up the subwoofer correctly. finish installing the H-701. tune the H-701. replace a blown speaker. install the HD radio with Mitch's cable. get better maps for my GPS (google and Goops sucks...) all those should be done by then.

Well Im going to make it, just not in my car, lol. I have decided that my car is just to unfinished to take. I am having so many issues with my build. The latest issue is that I have a VGA and a DVI port, but the DVI port is a DVI-D port because the MoBo is made for high multimedia. So now I have to buy a converter to make it VGA..... Its always something isnt it?
