@Etho - if all you have left is basically wiring that's normally not too bad. As long as you have the cables needed at the meet we could probably knock out the wiring in short order. I can bring a toolset and power drill, MachineHead called the duct tape and sledge already. I think Slash has some nice welding equipment...
If it's the OS and software you need, can prolly knock that out as well. Bring your XP disc and drivers for your stuff. I have RoadRunner and some skins, flash, winamp, tweaks and regedits, etc on a USB flash drive.
Let's see, I can bring the generator, the welder, the plasma cutter, and engine lift (just in case we have to pull it for the pc mounting lol), sawzalls, air compressors, and some C4 (in case we get pi$$ed off)
j/k around...
I have a little of everything
Chances are I'll have my truck up there, might even have a carPC installed by then, we'll see. I'm fighting through a wiring mess right now extending and shortening my stock body harness
nst6563, I need to start learning how to make a uber small XP install (no temp swap, no hibernate) that will fit on a CF card, can you PM me some starting points
also, my monitor is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, woot
now all I need is a PS and I can bench build this bad boy

UPS just delivered me a brand new 2008 Lilliput 629GL-70NP/C/T screen
Now all I gotta do is order my PS and I have all my components... which I am going to do right now.
I am extending some wires this evening on my vehicle body harness, then the dash, steering & wiring will be back in.
Guess tonight I am going to sit down and do some hardcore measuring and designing for the mounting for the pc. Right now, I am thinking in the dash where the airbag was, with a pullout tray, but first I need to determine if it will fit. If for some reason I cannot mount it there, I have one other choice, custom center console housing my pc... that'll at least give me some heller room... maybe something see through?
Anyone who wants to swing by one of these evenings and help me decide on mounting location, feel free to drop me a PM or give me a call... I have a few items still on my todo list before I can actually start on the mounting for this pc

Airbags are your friend! With the super ghetto finally install I had in my old passat (ask gizmo about it, he might even have pictures) it created a new game, not-shotgun. Any sort of front end collision would have resulted in the passengers face getting intimate with a 15" lcd .

LOL... 2 seater truck, I for sure wont be the passenger... the airbag system has been removed entirely on this vehicle... the airbag cover is the only part of the airbag left on the passenger side. And yes, I know, airbags are there for a reason... do realize this is a show vehicle, bagged and bodydropped, so I have to go over the top somewhere LOL
