Midwest meet?

So now that it was really nice in chicago today (54F and sunny, wooo!), its of course got me thinking about getting together another meet together with the warmer weather coming. The last time we (all four of us that showed up

) met we did it in the western suburbs of chicago, but depending on whos interested in coming, im sure we discuss possible locations. Anyone else up for a meet in April?

yep, sounds good to me. i live about an hour away from where it was held last time. im sure dudah will want to attend again (ill talk to him). i was dumb last time and got lost (didnt do my research), but i will definately get there this time around. If you make it the 2nd week of May i will be home from school.

Dudah is back! Ph3ar me! I'd definitely want to meet up again. I sold my best of a car though (the Saab). And bought a Civic (please shoot me). Decided to keep the carputer out of it for a while. Still have to get my system switched over. Just give me a date and I'd love to go!

OK, so April flew by, and its still not warm! Yay for Chicago weather. I guess the bigger question at this point is does anyone actually read this part of the forum? Should I cross post to the general hardware forum to drum up some more interest? Are you guys still up for a meet soon? Maybe the last weekend of may or the first full weekend of june?

yup, im definately intereted and i will not get lost this time. Im fine as long as its not between June 7th and 14th since i will be in Cancun. I know Kevin aka "dudah" (the meet was at his house last time) will be interested too. if you want, IM me and i will give you my home phone number and we can plan something.

Try to pick a date either like the last weekend in June or sometime mid July. I should have some of my changes done by then.

Yeah, we should just pick a date. I haven't kept up on this as I'm also reworking bits of my system (just ripped a failed fiberglassing attempt out of my center console last night

No offense Skipman, but I'm not hauling my butt down to St. Louis. The last time we all met up at a park. I don't remember the name of the park, but it was easy to find. Perhaps Dub remembers.

Busse Park was the name. Its located right next to the 3Com building in Schaumberg, IL. I suppose we could meet there again, unless anyone has objections. Woodfield mall and the Streets of Woodfield is right near there too and would be a good place to meet. Cars meet at Streets of Woodfield all the time and it is a nice, easy place to find.

Oh, and its Schaumburg, not Schaumberg, thats probably where the trouble stemmed from.

Do we want to go ahead and set a date for a meet then? Do we want to say the 28th or he 29th?
