We invited about 5,000 people and have 97 ticket requests so far. This keeps getting better. It looks like the guys from linux ice are coming as well as 2k1toaster (fusion brain). Some ticket requests might be duplicates, but it is looking good so far. I am finalizing speakers for the morning. It looks like we will have 5 speakers with around 6 minutes of q/a per speaker.

Just wanted to say that Nextabyte will be there as well with our new front-end ready for a demo. Nextabyte was created by the founders of OpenICE so that we could provide 24/7 support, legal codecs, and even better functionality for our products.

Everyone that stops by will get a free demo of our front-end software called "Drivn". Its a little rough around the edges, but it should be completed sometime in the coming weeks.

I will be able to answer any questions you may have about Drivn, Nextabyte, and how this affects the OpenICE community.

Thanks It will probably be after 8pm since I wont leave Toronto until morning, so it will be later at night when I get there.

So far the trip has been timed well. I hit "rush hour" in Des Moines, Iowa... I say it in quotes because I dont think anybody lives there... And I think the entire state of Nebraska is under construction. 10mi of construction, 2 miles of open road, 10mi of construction, 2 miles of open road, detour on a B road, then 10 more miles of construction, and so on...

At least in Nebraska it is only a work zone when people are there. So you can go 80mph just fine at night

Just wondering here, but can I bring a few games of cornhole with me. Not quite sure whats happening exactly at the meet (our first one), but it seems it would be a perfect setting.
