CES AFK Fest 2 - Centrafuse agrees to speak

Eric of Centrafuse would like to speak about the Connected Car. It sure would be good to get a Ride Runner developer to join in or someone from StreetDeck.

If instead you have a project that you would like to Demo, this could be an option as well. I am trying to present a persuasive case to CES that mmp3Car forum members are really cool and we should get a deal on space. I need more ideas to present to them.

What the h3ll is the connected car? Ive never heard of that???????? D@mn, why does it have to be in January. I just now managed to get the main PC programmed. I had to rip it out of my car to do it though, lol. I figured setting it up in the house would be more stable.

How soon are we going to make/get an official word on this?

If we register before Oct 1st...in other words...TODAY!!!!...registration is free. After today, it's $100.00 registration fee for CES.

Ditto.

This is gonna be a lot of fun!

Now...next topic...hotel.

- Can we/should be try to get a room block and bulk rate?
- Would people rather just fend for themselves and pick a place within their own particular budget?

Yes

And i am not looking for a place for the meet - I have calls out to CEA and some other groups/copmanies with space at CES. if anyone knows a company with space for 50 people to have a speaker series, we would love to use if for half the day Saturday.

They require proof (at the door apparently) of being affiliated with the Consumer Electronics Industry. Could we somehow use this to get in? If so what would we use?
