Jspeeder9 and I are planning on a quick meet on June 19th Thursday. We're just gonna check out eachother's system and plan on the july meet. It's going to be at Cal Poly Univ in Pomona
parking lot F, park closest to the big "pointy" building at 6PM. Anyone is welcome to show. If you're interested, please post here. He has a digital camera. we'll post some pictures

Edit: So Cal LA area Meet on June 19th 6PM at the good guys parking lot in Monterey Park. 2345 S Atlantic Blvd just north of fwy 60 and Atlantic exit.

Well... ideally for me we would have it somewhere like the santa monica airport. But i would be cool with as far east as downtown. What time on Thursday?

I dont live anywhere close to LA area so I wouldnt know where to meet. I was hoping sometime around 6 PM. I'm pretty sure when people show up, its gonna last a while. What part of SMA?

I'd be interested, but only as a spectator (spelled right?). I am still in the process of building my system up, but would definately like to see what others have accomplished. BTW, have any of the participants done any custom fiberglassing for the interior? That's what I'd like to see......

Anyone is welcome to come. Just say hey I'm one of the dudes from mp3car.com Basically I just want to check out other poeples system and ask a few questions and may answer a few questions. ohh and take lots of pictures. The problem with meets is coming up and a time and a place. That's why there are so many failed LA meets. Ao far we got the time, Thursday June 19th at 6PM. We still havent decided a place yet. az1324 doesnt want to drive to Pomona. He wants it in Santa Monica Airport. Jspeeder9 doesnt know the meet is not at Cal Poly Pomona. I can meet them half way at the good guys parking lot in Monterey Park. 2345 S Atlantic Blvd just north of fwy 60 and Atlantic exit. So far we have 4 people including me.
I drive a 97 white Tacoma.
JSpeeder drives a dark color Prelude.
az1324 drives a Jetta.
SinnerG drives a 98 Blazer.
loakster drives a BMW M3.
If az1324 shows up for the meet, it would be a great meet. If you show up, just drive around the parking lot and look for the above cars with people around them. Also check here and all of my posts to get the latest location.

hi, i would be interested in a meet, my system is not finished i have xenarc screen, at home i have compouter + hdtv + girder+ir remote + zoom player + winamp + albumlist remote controls everything, it's pretty sick...

i live in northridge area

Just want to let everyone know that the meet on Thursday the 19th is still good. Bring your old equipment that you want to sell too. Hey you never know, someone might need what you have. You might make a sale or two. If you live in the greater LA area you should go. It'll be fun. I'll be making the 2 hour drive tomorrow morning to LA. Hope to see yall there.

Well I'm back from LA. I got to meet SinnerG and Jspeeder9. SinnerG didnt have a system going yet. He came to check out the setups we have. Maybe next time dude. jspeeder has a laptop setup with TM-701L touch screen in his Prelude. The meet could have gone better if more people had shown up but oh well. Maybe next time. SinnerG took some pictures. Maybe he'll post it here soon. We're expecting another meet sometime in August. It'll be in the weekends so people can have the time to go. I'm thinking Sunday Aug 10th or 17th before school starts.

Well, meets take time to plan. I still think in the beginning of Aug would be enough time for people to prepair their system. We can probably have it somewhere in west side in Santa Monica or something. I perfer in a park and with a AC outlet nearby.

Well, as it turned out no one in socal is into meets like the east coast. Since no one replied or interested in the meet, I guess the meet is canceled. There's no reason for me to take a day off of work and drive 2 hours just to meet myself and check out my system. I can do all that at home. So there wont be any meetings on the 10 or the 16th of Aug. Sorry guys.

I would be very interested in a meet, I think it would be really beneficial to everybody who attends. Like I had stated before I am down for a meet. My friend from school, Mohadib (his nickname here) I’m sure would be also willing to come. I don’t know think it’s very hard to set up a meeting. Pick a place, set the time, and make sure everybody can show up on that day. It is not rocket science.
