Meet

I'm up for a meet - B'ham would be good and largely central. Much later than April and we'll be bumping into the big summer meets. A Sunday allows more people to get to a meet as many folk work on a Saturday.

April 17th / 18th is Donny, so before that would be better. How about Sunday April 4th - a reasonable meet point could be National Motorcycle Museum carpark off Junction 6 of M42, or Moto services at top of M42 / where it meets M1 - hard to miss those (used both before). 11am?

I missed the last meet as nothing seemed to be happening and only came back here now - does anybody wish to take charge of arranging this with alternative - definitive plans?

I first posted back in August when we were still building, here's an image of the build with the floor off. Most of the space went to the Kaputer, with just the CD Changer sneaking in, the rest of the ICE goes on top of facing into the back seats on vertical mounts. Any advice on the best GPS unit to go for and where to get them from in the UK?

Here's looking forward to meeting some of you.

Phosters,

I've got 2 of the Sapphire GPS mice, which I got from GPSWarehouse

First weekend in April sounds like a good idea, and the National Motor Cycle Museum sounds like a good place, too

Sunday April 4th for me also!

Phosters, do you mean Tamworth services at M42 J10?

Sounds ok - but you won't find many traders willing (or allowed) to setup stalls on a motorway services.

Just a thought

4th of April sounds like it could work...providing the Ford Anglia 105E Owner's Club AGM isn't that day too...!

Will let ya know!

Maybe we should start a "2nd UK MP3Car/CarPC Meet" thread?

Is it fair to assume everyone can drive?
