Wicked, I did have one question but didn't want to look like acomplete idiot. Is your LCD motorised and hide into the dash for driving about?
Any news or ideas on a when and where for this meet? I think that the Trafford centre is a good bet!

I could be game for a meet at the Traford Centre.
I'm based in leeds so getting over shouldn't be hard
If the meet is on a saturday then there is a BIG computer fair that runs just down the road from the traford centre every saturday, could be handy for any one looking to find parts to expand/build their car pc. ( if i remember correctly entrace to that is about £4 and it kicks off at about 11am and runs till about 4:30)

yeah thats right, its at bowlers Exebition center, they also do some Saterday/Sunday markets, supposed to be the biggest computer market in manchester! And it is LARGE!
if this is a concideration for peeps and if it influences the date then take a look here at their site: http://www.computermarkets.co.uk/New...anchester.html says there are sunday markets coming up in november there!

Someone's gonna have to say it
So it looks like its gonna be me.
The way I see it is we should have a meet before christmas! just so that we can all have a look at each others stuff and fire questions at the Pro's. This way we can all get our ideas together and send our christmas lists off to santa intime for christmas:-).
So I am gonna say a date, don't all shout at once, how about 5, 6 7 of december, thats in three weeks time. Of course I don't mean a whole weekend, just one of those days!
There, said it, phew thats better.

Sounds good to me. I'm only down the road in Warrington.
PC is still fitted, but I think I've fuxored either the monitor, or the VGA output of the mother board, so it probably won't be working by then, but I'll show, and look at what everyone else is fitting.

I can't make the 5,6,7 december, off to Prague for a drinking weekend.
Can make the 23rd? november.
If I had been keeping up with the thread I could hav been at bowlers this weekend instead of painting the fence. :-(
Seriously though, yesterday I managed to upgrade 5.6" in dash monitor to touch screen with a kit from DigitalWW. I'm fitting this in my van tomorrow (Monday). If anyone is around in Sale, give me a shout.
Craig

allllll righty then! I'm ready for a meet now... i've got near enough my whole system up and running at last
come on guys lets get this sorted!
How about 2 weeks tomorrow morning!? 14th December Sunday morning. I reckon this is the best part of the week as its going to be the quietest time. Another forum I participate in have had a few meetings opposite the trafford centre on Sunday mornings so this seems to be a good time/location.
Everyone put your names down if your up for it! Ill start it:
