Not xrs but xr. I was planning for the xrs at first but I realize that I just need a small, cheap, multi-purpose and easy on gas so I get the xr.
I already have the supra for my other fun 2zz is not really needed, but hey I can always pop in a SC right?

So how's everyone doing with their CarPC? It's getting closer to the meet. I hope everyone's able to make it. I notice there arent that many posts lately. I hope everyone's still motivated and excited about the meet.

I just need to reprogram the Alpine remote control to work with girder.
Another problem I am currently running in is the Audio part. I can't get my Alpine HU (TDM-7534S) to take the aux input. In the mean time I am using the tape adapter.
Other than that, I am set.
BTW I haven't get the GPS cuz I dont' need one yet.

oh hey matrix, on alpine HU you need to turn on the aux input, I had to do this however some alpines you loose a pre-amp output by doing such.

I already had the KCM-122B adapter from Alpine but this adapter is only work for the Versatile-Link ready HU (2001+ models). Mine HU is not Versatile-Link ready and it's a 95 96 model year.
The only option I have is some how trick the HU into thinking that there is a changer attach to it.
Any other info?

Hey if you're early, you can always walk around Fry's. You can find a cardboard and write MP3Car and leave it on your windshield, that way the rest of us know it's your car and wait for you. If you have a pager for your alarm, we can always set off your alarm and you can come running out of Fry's. Or we can write down your license plate and have one of Fry's employee anounce over the PA that your car's being towed so get your *** out here.
