Their Nissan club meets in the parking lot of a closed down Home Base off HWY 217 in Beaverton...close to I5, really good location for lots of cars and just hanging out and not being bothered.

As to my attending, and as I said before, I am still waiting till 8PM tonight to decide as the number of people attending is only 3 right now.

gospeed. and a friend
Dan Marsh from Seattle will be there
SiGmA_X is going to a VW meet 1st and can't meet till maybe 5

I believe that is all. Anyone else going?

That’s 3 people verified. For that I will wait till we can get a Seattle meet as that is much closer. We have spectrumzz from Seattle will also attend in Seattle.

Come on people lets get it together!

Yea, i would usually say later is better, but darkness will prohibit that. It sounds like there will be more people than cars with computer in them, so maybe we should settle for a food joint back room somewhere, easy access, and mid afternoon so the out of towners have time to get home. My $.02
I will definately be up for whenever/wherever.

gospeed.racer, you know the area, so pick a pizza place or someplace with big tables that doesn't have loud music so we can talk. Give us an address and directions from I-5. I would be happy to start anytime 3pm or earlier, but I want to be on the road back by 6-7pm. I am happy to pick up anyone in Washington that isn't too far from the route down. Lets get everyone's proper names and phone numbers so we can chat a little on the way down and call for directions if we get lost.

Alright alright, I'll meet at one I really want to see your setups, so I'll be there when I have to be. Plus, there is a VW party tomorrow night also, so I can just go to that

Well people,
As there are still only 3 people planning on attending I am begging out of the Portland meet.
Hopefully we can get a group together in Seattle for the 10th of January. Here is a link to
the Seattle Meet.

Have a good one,
Gary

Alright that's cool. If anyone in the Portland area wants to have a meet tomorrow, give my cell (503.475.3466) a ring and we can set it up. I'm working on cars all day tomorrow, well mostly, so it'd be great to check your ish

Need location

If someone wants to declare a location for the meet by the time I have to leave tomorrow morning, then I will see you all there. I am not about to leave, drive all the way down to portland and hope you guys have figured out a location by the time I get there. All we need is the name and address of a suitable restaurant, some directions and a time. Come on, surely you guys eat!

Man, I hate making decisions! I cant think of anything edible and quiet on the I-5 Is everyone coming from washington or protland area? If nobody is coming from the south, we may want to look around like Jantzen beach and maybe Vancouver. Make it a little easier on the travelers. I found one off of Mill plain in Vancouver...Take the I-205 exit off I-5 and follow to Mill Plain. looks easy to find. Mill plain is a pretty easy road to navigate

http://www.izzyspizza.com/washington.html#Vancouver

Their Phone number is (360)693-3228
My (Jeff) Cell number is (971)506-6056 or Email me gospeedgo@comcast.net (my email goes to my phone so I know right away)

I also want to make sure that you all know, me and dennis are just starting. We both have good computer experience, but we have no systems to show off. Only ideas and drawrings and more ideas. It sounds like only a car or 2 will be there with actual systems, so if your coming from a long ways away, it will pretty much just be a meet and greet the way it sounds. I am all for meeting, just dont want to get your hopes up too high. I will be totally up for a Seattle meet, and should have the system completed by then.

I'll find something.. Okay, here we go. This is out off the 5 because that's what makes it easy for you all. 3PM work?

Okay, Tualatin exit, one of the eaterys off of it. The Tualatin exit is #289 I think. We could meet at the McDonald's if we wanted to, if you are coming from the north, take a left and its that way From the south, flip it. We would meet at the 6800 SW Nyberg Street McDonald's.

Call me if you are in, I'll try to manage this end of it.

Heh you beat me. I'm up for meeting in that location. I don't think I can be there until 3pm, but I guess I could cut the Dub thing short. Jeff, I'm good with that location. Hit me up on AIM to talk details.

I think I am going to hold off until the Seattle meet. I don't like the idea of having to drive 4-5 hours each way just to see one other person's car computer. I think there would have been much more interest in the Portland meet if the details had been finalized a week or two in advance, instead of at 2:30 in the morning.

LOL. Coulndt agree more. Heck, i just finally registered for the forum this week Lets make a date, hopefully early in January, and stick with it. I still like the idea of this Izzy's, easy access, and all. Unless someone has a better idea Lets hear it guys...Saturdays or Sundays? Afternoon for the people that are from out of town. Does January work for everyone? Lets plan it by the end of the month and aim for mid-january. Roman, since you are local if you have some time feel free to gimme a cal...maybe me and dennis and you could meet up and bs over coffee or something. Later all...it was worth a try!
