Good question. Last time we met at the Varsity in mid-town. It was an "OK" place to meet. It got a little crowded around 12:30 - 1:00 when the lunch crowd came. It was also a bit smelly since we were near the dumpster.
I'd kinda prefer to find somewhere else in the same general area, but am open to going back to the Varsity if others want to go there... I worry a little about rain since it's out in the open. It would be ideal to find a large parking garage/deck that we could use without being hassled. I don't think the Varsity would want a bunch of car-geeks on their decks during lunch.
I'm open to suggestions.....

If nowhere else, we could meet at my friend's body shop. It's nearby on Cheshire Bridge Road and has enough parking.

Well we can meet at the Varsity again but meet under the parking deck. Bc theres two levels you can park on. On the top and then on the bottom. Everyone know where thats at... So anything else?

Varsity works great for me. What time should we meet? We can try around 1PM to avoid the lunch crowd.

i'd like to try and make it too.. i'll be coming from birmingham, alabama though, so um,this will REALLY put the GPS to the test, because I've never been to midtown.
Anyone have some sort of address for this place so that I can get a route mapped up?
