Like MikeH... I'm in Marietta too... but I'm open to where ever folks want to meet.

MikeH... Will you have any of your power supplies available for the 19th?
I have been meaning to get one, but never got around to it. If you have one, would love to get one then. Please let me know how much and if you want cash or if you prefer I pre pay via paypal or something.
Thanks.

I'm in Kennesaw myself. I will be rebuilding my entire system (pc and stereo) since I just picked up sponsorship with Stillwater Designs (Kicker). I have the Opus 150 (just had it replaced recently) but still interested to see/hear of other power alternatives. I frequent Barrett Pkwy often (live off Barrett and Old 41), Yellow 03 SRT4, tinted with Lake Effect Racing banner on front windsheild. Flag me down is you see me.

The parking lot is not a bad size, and they have wireless (and I have a t-mobile account) in case we need drivers or whatever. If the scene sucks, we can always move on to another location in the area, and it'll be easy for everyone (except out of towners) to get home.

Should we say 2pm Sunday? This will give everyone a chance to travel (and for those who's obligations take them right on to 1:30pm).

Well, since I didn't get any rotten tomatoes thrown at me for this suggestion, I guess we can roll with it.

2pm good for you?

Yes. I'll be there representing the Dashwerks team. I'm not sure what condition our car will be in, but hopefully we can do some kewl demo's.

Can anyone bring an 802.11 Compact Flash (CF) WiFi card? We'll bring a couple of PDA's for the demo, but we don't have any WiFi cards for them. If someone can bring a WiFi card, we can probably showoff a few neat tricks.

Also, can someone bring a Bluetooth cell-phone? Heh...

We haven't had enough time to plan any _really_ sweet demo's (aka multi-car audio, etc), but I'm confident that we'll be able to do something fun.

Just caught the thread... and I'm subscribed to it but didn't get any emails, darn it.

I can make it. Love to meet some of you guys and see what y'all have done.

I have a dell Axim X5 with WiFi, and a Siemens Simpad with WiFi... no bluetooth...yet.

Also, I would be up for doing things at my house. I have a two car garage, but a half court concrete basketball court with drive to in in the back yard. Plus I have a Big Green Egg (www.biggreenegg.com for those of you who don't know) and make some of the meanest smoked poultry in the world. I would feed and provide beer to anyone who can do fab work and is brave enough to take the interior apart. I'm pretty good on the SW side of things.

See you guys on Sunday. Blue Avalanche with USNA plates.

well, it appears that my carputer has decided it doesnt want to boot if either my GPS or my Cameras are plugged in.

http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/general-hardware-discussion/38529-no-help-m10000-freezes-while-checking-ram.html

I havent really decided if that means I should give up on coming to the meet or if I should bring it so you guys can help me figure out WTF is going on.

I've still got the old, trusty standby laptop that works flawlessly....

I've done quite a few systems in Avalanches. Taking the interior apart is easy.

So how many people are in for tomorrow?

I worked on our car tonight, but didn't get as much done as I had hoped; so many features won't be working tomorrow (headrest display, backup camera, web browser, etc.). As I said, the car hasn't been maintained so please don't be predated with high expectations tomorrow. Sorry!

Will there be any other Carputers out there tomorrow?
