I am in montréal (oui, je suis québécois) and will do all I can not to be taged as american in the forums
I know there is no places online to get stuff without crossing the borders, and if you do cross the borders, do it standard mail or fedex - UPS will cost you more then the item in border paper only. they suck.

I curse UPS. they are nothing but leeches. Their brokerage fees are the worst. They charge you money to hold your package for a few days...how nice of them. I refuse to even do business with them.
Http://www.mp3playerstore.com is Canadian. Has some LCD screens and sells a lot on Ebay.

thanks Cyberphox i'll look around that online store.
and I fully agree they steal you at the borders with UPS. Ordered a video card for 200$, had to pay an extra 180$ for UPS and borders...
I used fedex without any problems, and the best (fastest) is USPS (air mail) it goes from california to montreal within a week with no extra costs.

Canadian here too! Burnaby, B.C. Been on this board for 3-4 years now. And yes, I don't buy online from NCIX, but I actually go in and buy from the store...good customer service!

I spent a week in Vancouver, BC For some martial arts training and all I have to say is Canada has the best TV! One channel had hot chicks speaking french, another channel had hot chicks speaking polish and then I watched the simpsons 5 times in day! Oh Canada! Our home and native land!

I'm confused, I missed where someone mentioned Netlinx.
If you're referring to http://www.ntcw.com, they're New Type Computers, located Downtown, kinda near BC Place. I bought my first computer from them.
Although NCIX (Netlinx) is really good, I usually find Anitec has better prices.
I assume you also read van.forsale, Orangewhip? There's always good deals to be had there.
Anyway, we're taking over this forum. It's gonna be www.mp3car.ca from now on! <Maniacal Laughter>
Cheers,
Kris
